Ante is a self-contained coding agent that lives in your terminal as a single roughly 15 MB Rust executable with zero runtime dependencies. It ships Grep and git inside the same binary, supports interactive TUI, headless, server and gateway modes, and can run fully offline against GGUF models through a pinned llama.cpp build. Running twenty parallel tasks in one container, it reports about 7x less peak memory and 9x less average CPU than Claude Code. macOS and Linux only; the beta preview is free.
