ColdIVF is a read-optimized vector index in Rust, built for cold reads. It builds an index over float vectors of 128 to 4,080 dimensions, lets you prepare it while the query embedding is being computed so its tables load in parallel, and searches with an nprobe and rerank budget, with a writer that can insert, delete, sync and compact in the background.
Be the first to rate ColdIVF. Your feedback helps other users decide.
Prepare loads the index tables while the query embedding runs, rather than after.
A writer inserts, replaces and deletes with changes visible to searches in the same process.
Compaction can be handed to another thread so searches keep going while it writes.
