CUA-S1 is a model built for computer use, meaning it is trained to operate a desktop interface the way a person would rather than only answering in text. It ships alongside the CUA project, which provides the surrounding tooling for running and evaluating these agents. The focus is on general control of a computer: moving the pointer, clicking and completing multi-step tasks inside real applications. It targets developers building automation that has to work through a normal graphical interface, and the project is shared as an open-source repository.
