Trace is a Mac app that records and transcribes your meetings entirely on your own machine. It captures your microphone, system audio, and optional screenshots, then hands you a markdown transcript and a summary with flagged moments inline. Nothing leaves the Mac, which is the point — it is built for people who cannot paste a client call into a cloud service. It requires macOS 14.4 or later and Apple silicon, and is distributed through the Mac App Store.
