Ret is a desktop workbench for Codex and Claude Code. You start threads across every project, fork them, spread them out on a canvas, and clear whatever is waiting on you from one inbox — so running a lot of agents does not mean losing track of them. It shows which threads need you and which are working, and carries the diff and the command an agent wants to run with the approval. It runs on Windows and macOS, updates itself, and there is an iPhone beta.
Be the first to rate Ret. Your feedback helps other users decide.

Ten Show HN launches that turn an opaque agent run into something you can see: step progress, session state, approvals, image paste and voice.
Eight launches that give agents a place to work: a browser, a terminal grid, a recording runtime, a process CLI and a reverse-engineering IDE.
Seven launches for the edges of the tool set: decision records, calibrated decision models, interpretability, teaching apps and agent marketplaces.
Four Show HN launches that verify agent work rather than trusting its summary: an execution record, an AI-app scanner, a local guardrail and adversarial tests.
Five Show HN launches that keep work on your machine: a ternary model runner, a distillation proxy, a PostgreSQL client, CAD over MCP and a local ETL builder.
