Shipback is an SFTP deploy tool built so every deploy can be taken back. It uploads a folder to cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin or a plain VPS with a backup of each replaced file taken before the upload starts, swaps files in whole so a dropped connection leaves the old one, and restores byte for byte with one command. It runs standalone, from a script, or as an MCP server.
Be the first to rate Shipback. Your feedback helps other users decide.
One command puts the site back byte for byte, even after a deploy cut off halfway.
A deploy only runs the exact plan the agent previewed, and refuses if a file changed in between.
A dry-run pull shows what changed on the host since your last deploy.

Nine Show HN launches beneath the model: filesystems, snapshots, gateways and deploy tools that decide what an agent sees and what survives.
Nine launches that check agent work: per-call access policy, MCP server vetting, runtime verification, readable diffs and a hard stop at 95%.
Nine Show HN launches sitting under the agent: a model gateway, vectorless retrieval, on-device inference, an MCP browser layer and connectors for real systems.
Eight Show HN projects for trusting long agent runs: work context capture, distilled memory, folder fences, dollar budgets, plan review and tool governance.
Eight Show HN projects that check what an agent actually built: runtime verdicts, agent onboarding audits, semantic review and in-loop evaluation.
