VS Code Bridge for Claude Code is a VS Code extension plus a Claude Code plugin, so Claude sees what you see. Share a browser page and Claude reads, screenshots and clicks it; your selection in the Markdown editor, in a diff or on a shared page, plus the image in front, reaches Claude with your prompt; VS Code's own tools are exposed as an MCP server, including diagnostics, rename symbol and any command; file links from Claude's chat open in the editor you chose; and code blocks in the chat get your editor's colours. It needs VS Code 1.142 or later and Node 22.18 or later.
