Glider is a single-node vector database that treats S3-compatible object storage as the source of truth. Every acknowledged write is durable in object storage before the server answers, local RAM and SSD only speed up reads, and it serves nearest-neighbour search with metadata filters over an HTTP and JSON API, with a Python client and an MCP memory server.
Be the first to rate Glider. Your feedback helps other users decide.
Acknowledged writes land in object storage before the client gets a response.
Collections, upserts and filtered nearest-neighbour queries are all plain HTTP and JSON.
An MCP memory server is included alongside the Python client.
